Inspired by the social nature of old American music, they packed a 1988 Chevy van with some old-time instruments and a DIY approach and drove south out of Brooklyn. A decade later, their ragged dedication remains with the release of their third full-length album Ride Free.

Ride Free joins a wider collection of home recordings, songbooks and singles that the band has shared directly with fans over the years, everywhere from living rooms and barns, to well-known festivals like Austin City Limits, Newport Folk, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and Stagecoach.
